Una arqueolog?a de la imagen, implica considerar a la imagen desde la intermedialidad (entre-medios), los cuerpos y las miradas. Concebirla desde una cr?tica de la cultura en una contemporaneidad atravesada por la crisis. La pregunta ?qu? son las im?genes? que se formula desde la debilidad de cierta inocencia de la escritura, adquiere toda su dimensi?n desde el momento en que se confunde imagen con visualidad o imagen con medios audiovisuales, dejando por el camino todos los restos de im?genes que no son visuales. A?n m?s, ese debate se torna m?s complejo, cuando en su trasfondo est? la "memoria" del holocausto (o de los holocaustos); las im?genes de la crisis pol?tica, econ?mica y social o los miles de refugiados, en la paradigm?tica imagen de un ni?o muerto en la playa, deambulando por geograf?as europeas. Memoria, das Auswendiglernen, ist ein Teilgebiet der Rhetorik. Genauer betrachtet der vierte Punkt beim Konzipieren einer Rede. Zum Begriff 'Ged?chtnis' geh?ren vielf?ltigste F?higkeiten, wie etwa das Wieder erkennen vertrauter Personen, das Abrufen und das Erlernen von Fakten, das Erinnern autobiographischer Begebenheiten, R?umliches Orientieren in bekannten Gebieten und auch die Benutzung von Sprache. Erste Erw?hnungen der Mnemonik sind nicht genau nachvollziehbar. Es wurde aber bisher auf Einfl?sse aus dem pythagoreischen und dem ?gyptischen verwiesen. Vorstellbar ist aber auch, dass diese Technik bereits von den fahrenden S?ngern und Geschichtenerz?hlern angewandt wurde. Der Name Mnemonik ist der griechische G?ttin der 'Erinnerung' und Mutter der Musen 'Mnemosyne' entlehnt. Einen ersten historischen Hinweis ist im Dialexeis, einem griechischen Textfragment, das auf etwa 400 v. Chr. zu datieren ist, zu finden. 'Die gr??te und sch?nste Erfindung ist das Ged?chtnis, es ist zu allem n?tze, in der Weisheit und im Leben. N?mlich erstens, wenn du aufmerkst, so wir dein Geist dessen, worauf du gemerkt hast, besser inne werden; zweitens wiederhole, was du geh?rt hast, denn durch oftmaliges H?ren und Hersagen aus dem Ged?chtnis hast du dir alles angeeignet, was du gelernt hast; drittens, was du h?rst, setze auf das, was du schon wei?t.
