The pattern looks like a wave pattern or a drop pattern, but when you look closer, you will be surprised at the fineness of the grain. Sophisticated technology and taste are the very spirit of Japanese manufacturing. The name comes from the white mottled pattern that appears on the back of a fawn. Tie-dyeing, which has been practiced in Japan for more than 1000 years, has been used for the patterns of court costumes. If you look closely, you can see that it is made elaborately. Shibori is a technique in which cloth is tied with thread, sandwiched between tools, and sewn by hand to create areas that will not be dyed even when immersed in dye. The black kimono with the family crest as a man's formal wear continues to the present day, such as being worn by the groom at a wedding ceremony.Men's haori is worn in addition to formal wear. Women began to wear it after the Meiji era.However, we do not match the haori with the women's formal wear.The opportunity for women to wear haori is fashionable, and they enjoy wearing haori with casual kimono. 羽織（はおり）は、丈の短い着物の一種です。防寒・礼装などの目的から、長着の上にはおって着用します。羽織は、戦場で鎧の上に羽織った「陣羽織」が由来とも言われ、もっぱら男性が着用するものとして発展しました。江戸時代以降には、町人などの男性の正装として、家紋のついた着物に袴を着けて羽織を着るという姿が一般的になりました。男性の正装としての黒色で家紋がついた着物は、結婚式で新郎が着用するなど、現代にまで続いています。男性用の羽織は正装以外にも着用します。女性は、明治期以降に着用するようになりました。ただし、女性の正装着物に羽織を合わせることはありません。女性が羽織を着る機会は、おしゃれの一環として、普段着用の羽織をカジュアル着物に合わせて楽しんでいます。

This requires skilled craftsmanship. The background pattern is a beautiful pattern that appears three-dimensionally depending on the way the light hits it. It takes time and effort to weave various patterns, dye the entire fabric, and create white fabric with floral patterns. This requires skilled craftsmanship. Also, the lining of the haori is called ``haura.'' The feather lining is made of tachibana or hemp leaves.
