The question is, will he find them waiting for him where he left them?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reviews:

Podcast Review: youtu.be/hyj_UYr5jYY?si=rKl2xy7Wm1XjMB9S

The Mystery of Still Valley: I don’t usually listen to or read mysteries, but you had me on the edge of my seat the whole time AND it had such a fabulous ending. I have thought a lot about it. I loved your character development, the descriptions, the suspense, the love story, hope, drama, everything. I still have a smile on my face. -Nancy S.

The Mystery of Still Valley: Thank you so much for sharing this incredible book! From the very first line, "May your Joy always be found here," it completely pulls you in. The chapters build suspense so well, creating this growing sense that Still Valley holds deep, dark secrets. They really stand out as the most mysterious and pivotal moments in the book. And then... Chinese organized crime? What a twist! The ending truly makes you reflectーStill Valley feels like life itself, where we move through different situations, meet new people, and each of them has their own story and influences. But when we try to go back to those moments, they’re just... gone. It’s such a powerful reminder to cherish the present, because everything changes so fast. -L, Ruez-

The Mystery of Still Valley: I finished the book. I found myself wishing it was longer, I was quite disappointed that it ended. It was really good. Would I buy or recommend this book? Absolutely. Its every bit as good as the “career authors out there”. -Neil B.-

The Mystery of Still Valley: I can’t believe I’m the first to leave a review or a rating for this book. I was mindlessly scrolling through Storytel and landed upon this little treasure ! An author I haven’t heard of and a book with no reviews online at all - I’m not the one to bravely go ahead and taking a chance anyways. But, I’m glad I did. It’s a great short story and much better than some of the novellas I’ve read lately! -Shruthi-

Audio Review: youtu.be/hyj_UYr5jYY?si=rKl2xy7Wm1XjMB9S

More Financial Stability

... More Time

... Better Mental Health

... Better Relationships

... Less Stress and Anxiety

... More Followers

... More Streams & Sales

... Less Brain Fog & Frustration

... & Countless Other Positive Changes

Bold claims, you say.

Well, if I can bring myself back from the brink of bankruptcy, total despair, and poor mental health, and STILL be making a decent living from music, then so can you.

In the music industry, making money online is easier that you think, if you go about it the right way and have the right mindset.

The best part is most of the things I teach in this book won't cost you a penny to set up.

It also comes with 40 pages of helpful links and QR code, giving you everything you need to start seeing success, fast.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who go after what they want, and everybody else.

Which one are you?

A collection of short stories, thoughts, and poems offering women a perspective on modern love and the tools to change their love lives and inner lives.

Three hundred women sat down with Mike, and after three hours, 299 of them agreed that they never wanted a boyfriend again. Find out why . . .

When entrusting her heart to somebody, a woman doesn’t want to worry about the bad and the ugly. Things like disloyalty, disrespect, indifference, contempt, micro-aggression, and outright violence. In a perfect world, every guy would be a “good guy” and have her best interest at heart. Unfortunately, the real world is a dangerous place, particularly when women must allow strangers in. And while some women are decent judges of character, others don’t see the train coming until it hits them. This book serves as a cautionary tale, and also offers an important perspective on modern love and equips women with strategies to effectively change their love lives and, most importantly, their inner lives.

Ask yourself: Where am I now? What are my struggles? What sort of pain do I carry? What parts of myself have I lost? Then, figure out where you want to be. The Boyfriend Book will get you there. The possibilities for rebirth and reinvention are endlessーbut it’s ultimately up to you to make it all happen. This book will help you find a way to go forward that does not involve sideways.

Fans of Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, Her by Pierre Alex Jeanty, Whiskey Words and a Shovel by r.h.
Zen masters have used many expressions, but one expression stood out to me above all else and it was the simple statement that you should focus on yourself and look beyond the words themselves. I would find myself asking questions such as "what is Zen mind? ", and how does it correlate to finding peace from within even questioning myself at times " do I really know what my own mind is? Is it what I am doing now?" Do I have that in mind right now? If you have ever tried to try to sit still and couldn't find what others seem to accomplish which is unification with your mind, body, and soul this book is perfect for you because it guides you in acquiring this goal and finally coming to peace with yourself and learning how to expel the negative energies around you.

Content:

Experience

Excuses

The power of Zen in your life

Creating Zen work and so on

Grab a copy of yours now!!!

People problems are costing your construction company millions. Here's how to solve them.

If you're a construction owner, you're looking at the current projects on the books and your financial success. And you know you could do better. You find yourself asking the same questions:

Why is it that my project profit fades over the lifetime of a project?

Why is it that I have these conflicts between the field and the office, or between myself and my project partners, or between the general contractors and my owners?

Why is it that I can't identify the right types of people to work in the organization or the right types of projects to build?

Why is it that I bid on a project and think I'm gonna win it, but my competition comes in at the last moment and takes the project away from me?

The reason why is your people don't know how to lead, they don't know how to establish clear strategies, and they don't know how to sell. Every business problem you're facing is a people problem. Technical competence is not enough. It's about identifying the right client, the right project, and the right location, and attracting the right people into the right roles to build relationships with those clients and deliver the projects on time.

Since 2004, Eric Anderton has worked with construction company executive teams to improve their profitability. All else being equal in terms of technical skills, the quality of a construction business comes down to the people involved. You need to be able to sell your services to the right clients with the right projects. You need to bring the right people on-site to execute those projects. And you must communicate internally and externally throughout the lifetime of a project so that you deliver that project profitably on a consistent basis. The people determine everything in construction.

In this book, Eric has compiled nearly two decades of proven, no-BS construction advice to show you:

How to lead

How to strategize

How to sell

How to be successful

Construction Genius logically breaks down complex concepts into small components so any construction leader understands how to be more effective. Construction Genius covers topics as broad as how to structure a meeting so you reach an agreement on how to solve problems every time, to how to have tough conversations without ruining relationships, to how to build better teams that deliver profitable projects . . . and the one question that will save you $1 million, guaranteed.

Whether you're a subcontractor that generates $10 million a year or a general contractor that generates $1 billion-plus a year, Construction Genius solves the profit-killing people problems every company battles.

Simple, straightforward leadership, strategy, sales, and marketing tools to build a profitable, sustainable construction company.

For the Readers
I do not know where this book finds you or how you came across it, but I'd like for you to know what it means to me. In a nutshell, this book is and has been my healing: both the process and the manifestation. Before I began writing and compiling, I survived a series of unfortunate events that had me broken and unnerved spiritually, mentally and physically. I retreated from friends and family. I hid my pain and my glaring vulnerabilities so I could appear strong. In truth, it was the longest lie I had helped maintain. I didn't know who to turn to, or if I could even turn. Every time I thought I was down and out, there was another downer that put me further under. When anyone attempted to encourage me with the clich? "up is the only way left to go," I learned "down" can be eternal; truth be told it was "down" where I spent most of my time, so much so I was forced to set up camp. It was there, at the rock bottom of rock bottoms, that I learned the taut feeling of despair and the claustrophobia of hopelessness. Pain made me clang as it clung closer than lovers clinging their missed loved ones. I learned to breathe, even when it hurt doing the rounds (inhale/exhale); and it was there, intermingled amongst the laboured routines, that this alphabetically cathartic medical meditation ushered itself on a creative surfboard, riding on a wave of hope; doing gnarly cowabungas on the forefront of my mind. The idea was there, some of the material too, but I wasn't ready. I wasn't whole, nor was I close. In a sense, it was still loading. I found myself once, years ago. I knew me, but before this book, I seemed rather unfamiliar. I was me, but not me enough to meet the task before me. I had to re-find me, wherever I was, to see whoever I'd become during the time I ignored me. This book helped; it helped me re-find and then refine me, and in the refining, I was able to redefine me. You have your own journey ahead of you. I only hope you diligently seek with the intention to find, then meticulously refine, only to honestly redefine, if not define, yourself. Life is your journey; find, address and repair you. Your happiness depends on it.

Share My Journey has four focal points in my eyes, but it was not intended for me to dictate the readers' experience, only a narrative. It was created for the reader to explore and discover whatever situation or relationship that those particular passages bring to mind. Gratefulness and gratitude, a glimpse into my world, (my mind's eye) of the greeting and appreciation for every day. All of the opportunities it continuously offers for us to give thanks, never missing an occasion to list out loud why we are grateful. No reason is ever too small. An expression of loving, caring, kind, and encouraging words from a mother to her young son. Intentional words to instill confidence, self-assurance, strength, and an unbreakable bond of love. Doctor's notes, my gift to the doctors and nurses that displayed their stellar qualities of care for myself as well as others. I wanted to highlight their individual contributions of how they inspired me, and how grateful I am for our encounters. And last, but certainly not least, is reflection. It is where the scenes spoken of has applied to everyone, or some particular point will, and if not, you know someone who has dealt with a situation similar. These are the areas approached and embarked upon, but my challenge to the readers is go even further and allow yourself to truly feel all of the emotions showering you. To acknowledge, accept, respect, and value your emotions is a true form of release. Laugh, cry, reminisce, allow nostalgia a few moments of your time etc...

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Deacon Blue: To Be Here Someday【電子書籍】[ This Day in Music Books ]

To Be Here Someday book review by Deacon Blue fan Jim Boyle:

If you haven't done so already I would really urge you to treat yourself or a loved one to Paul English's absolutely stunning book this Christmas, charting the 35 year career of Deacon Blue.

Whilst I'm maybe a tiny bit biased because some of my scribbles, pics, press cuttings and ticket stubs feature in the final cut it's been the most enjoyable non-fiction book I've read in years.

I was a little bit curious about how it would turn out when I first heard the ambitious aim of trying to tell the band's story both from the perspective of the band as well as their fans but Paul English has absolutely nailed it. I loved the format of the book, perfectly set out in two complementary parts.

The first part follows the chronology and the back story of the band told by the band and some of their crew from the very early days through to the cancellation of the original Cities of Love dates last year. Each member often brings a different take or recollection and it features a lot of tales I had read before but also so many fascinating new anecdotes and insights. So many brilliant and amusing little stories and rare facts are shared for the first time. No spoilers here though.

I found myself going onto autopilot playing each of the band's albums in the background as I read the relevant section of the book, often seeing an album track or its meaning in a slightly new light. Their back catalogue really is outstanding and it was fascinating hearing how they tried to evolve their approach and sound at different times in their career, whether it was the pressure from the record company to write a hit single, their brief flirtation with the Oakenfold stable and dance remixes or the impact on some of the band members (Jim especially) depending on whether piano or electric guitar was at the forefront of the band's sound at different times.

Paul's writing is so natural and heartfelt and it's clear he also has a passion for the band and gets that across. I loved the little extras with a number of clever chapter titles and a handful of subtle lyrical references throughout. I noticed all your tiny touches Paul. The images scattered through the book also did a great job of bringing the different chapters of the band's career to life.

The second part of the book, sharing the memories and reflections of the fans, has been painstakingly and lovingly curated by Paul English. Again whilst I was delighted to submit my own scribbles I wasn't quite sure how a story told by dozens of different voices would translate into a memoir and wondered whether it would flow or become a bit disjointed or repetitive, more like a scrapbook. Any fears were quickly allayed. The second part is a wonderful read and it flows just perfectly.

Every voice offers something slightly different. Whether people have never seen them live or have seen them dozens of times it's clear that the band means a lot to so many but also means something different to so many too. It was equally fascinating to hear how the same song can mean something so different to different people. The band has a special connection with its audience and that's clearly much more than just entertaining them.

The Com.pos.men.tis is a book of poetic justice. Whether you believe in God or not, we are all connected by our deeds, beliefs or disbeliefs, thoughts and actions. It is not my story, but all our stories wrapped into one giant symphony of a life and humanity, being the instruments of life with no part being greater or less than the other. So, ask yourself this question, "Why does humanity suffer?". A question I have asked myself many times over. Obviously, life serves a purpose, but what purpose and how do we find the answer? Well, this book is not the answer, but could be one of the many keys to unlocking the answers within yourself. There are many paths to the truth and this may or may not be the one. Yet, you will never know until you explore the many doors of opportunities, such as this book. We want and desire a lot of things in life, but most, if not all, is out of ignorance, which means that we may be the corporates of our own suffering and others, as well. So, what happens when we become enlightened? What then will we want and desire for ourselves and others alike?

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】What the Video Vixens of 2008 Taught Me【電子書籍】[ Elizabeth Clyde ]

In 2008, I was a student at Clark Atlanta University where I majored in Psychology.

Simultaneously, I was a student in the game of life being led by women who were the Video Vixens of that era. Some of their little sisters were my close friends and others let me tag along.

From night clubs to strip clubs I was allowed in as a VIP guest before I turned 21, which meant they were giving me pointers on what to do and what not to do. Back then it was $100 a head if they weren't checking ID.

I never paid a dime; I just played my position and walked through.

I am telling you my experiences and even with the Video Vixens guidance and others along the way I still got myself into sticky (i.e. sketchy) situations that by God's grace and favor I somehow made it out alive. I believe it was to impart this wisdom to you.

Fast forward to now, a lot of the principles I learned from that environment allowed me to function in the entertainment industry independently for more than a decade. I later married my husband who comes from a family in the entertainment space and we run a media empire together.

A Video Vixen during that time was the chosen main girl in the music video. She was a model, actress, and sometimes producer. She had a voice and a real role in the part she was playing.

One of the biggest pieces of advice they indirectly gave me was don't try to be known before your time. You run the risks of embarrassing yourself and your descendants. I have taken my time in hopes that you will do the same.

Read this book, apply these principles, and most of all take your time...

"Seek respect more than attention, eventually you will have both."

Elizabeth Clyde

Through A Dreamer's Eye was constructed under grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, heartache, and self-awareness. Initially, when I started putting my poems together my only real intention was to heal, as I worked my way to the last page. Then, I realized I had no real ending... no idea of when I would get to my "last page". I lost my way so many times trying to get to the finish line. This book has rebirthed me in a way that no self-help book or podcast ever could. Through A Dreamer's Eye is a book filled with intention-based and confessional poetry, which will allow you all to see what it looks like to finally show up for yourself. I've spent a lot of time daydreaming about peace, compartmentalizing my nightmares of bad habits I thought I would never get rid of, and fantasizing about what it feels like to receive the love I give on a daily basis. I finally feel alive, awake, and aware of the things that held me so low. My only intention is to inspire at least one reader to accept who they were, who they are now, and who they are trying to become, as I have inspired myself from start to finish. Life is but a dream, and I'll always treat it as such.

Childhood is hard. The Bashful Butterfly is a collection of self-love poems for the bashful little girl in all of us. Too skinny, too light, too brown, lips too big, hair too nappy, I've heard it all and sadly, I believed it all…until, I didn't.

.

I wrote these poems to express how I used to feel about myself because society said I should. After nearly five decades, I've learned to love me as God made me and accepted the fact that I'm enough.

.

To anyone who has been made to feel that they weren't enough, know this: A person's opinion of you does not define you. On the large round dining-table is set out a tray with whisky, a syphon, and a silver cigarette-box. It is past midnight.
A fumbling is heard outside the door. It is opened suddenly; JACK BARTHWICK seems to fall into the room. He stands holding by the door knob, staring before him, with a beatific smile. He is in evening dress and opera hat, and carries in his hand a sky-blue velvet lady's reticule. His boyish face is freshly coloured and clean-shaven. An overcoat is hanging on his arm.
JACK. [He laughs.] Mus' tell him I've got absolutely nothing.
[He lurches through the door and down a corridor, and presently returns, followed by JONES, who is advanced in liquor. JONES, about thirty years of age, has hollow cheeks, black circles round his eyes, and rusty clothes: He looks as though he might be unemployed, and enters in a hang-dog manner.]
JACK. Sh! sh! sh! Don't you make a noise, whatever you do. Shu' the door, an' have a drink. [Very solemnly.] You helped me to open the doorーI 've got nothin, for you. This is my house. He picks the reticule from off JACK'S shirt-front, holds it to the light, and smells at it.]
JONES. Been on the tiles and brought 'ome some of yer cat's fur.
[He stuffs it into JACK's breast pocket.]
JACK. [Murmuring.] I 've scored you off! Lifting his hands, with fingers spread, he stares at it; then looks again at JACK, clenching his fist as if to batter in his sleeping, smiling face. Suddenly he tilts the rest o f the whisky into the glass and drinks it. With cunning glee he takes the silver box and purse and pockets them.] I 'll score you off too, that 's wot I 'll do!
[He gives a little snarling laugh and lurches to the door. His shoulder rubs against the switch; the light goes out. There is a sound as of a closing outer door.]
The curtain falls.
The curtain rises again at once.
About Author :

John Galsworthy OM (/????lzw??r?i/; 14 August 1867 ? 31 January 1933) was an English novelist and playwright. Notable works include The Forsyte Saga (1906?1921) and its sequels, A Modern Comedy and End of the Chapter. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932.

Galsworthy was born at what is now known as Galsworthy House (then called Parkhurst) on Kingston Hill in Surrey, England, the son of John and Blanche Bailey (n?e Bartleet) Galsworthy. His family was prosperous and well established, with a large property in Kingston upon Thames that is now the site of three schools: Marymount International School, Rokeby Preparatory School, and Holy Cross Preparatory School. He attended Harrow and New College, Oxford. He took a Second in Law (Jurisprudentia) at Oxford in 1889, then trained as a barrister and was called to the bar in 1890. However, he was not keen to begin practising law and instead travelled abroad to look after the family's shipping business. During these travels he met Joseph Conrad, then the first mate of a sailing-ship moored in the harbour of Adelaide, Australia, and the two future novelists became close friends. In 1895 Galsworthy began an affair with Ada Nemesis Pearson Cooper (1864?1956), the wife of his cousin Major Arthur Galsworthy. After her divorce ten years later, they were married on 23 September 1905 and stayed together until his death in 1933. Before their marriage, they often stayed clandestinely in a farmhouse called Wingstone in the village of Manaton on Dartmoor, Devon. In 1908 Galsworthy took a long lease on part of the building and it was their regular second home until 1923.

From the Four Winds, a collection of short stories, was Galsworthy's first published work in 1897. These and several subsequent works were published under the pen name of John Sinjohn, and it was not until The Island Pharisees (1904) that he began publishing under his own name, probably owing to the recent death of his father. His first full-length novel, Jocelyn, was published in an edition of 750 under the name of John Sinjohnーhe later refused to have it republished. His first play, The Silver Box (1906), ーin which the theft of a prostitute's purse by a rich 'young man of good family' is placed beside the theft of a silver cigarette case from the rich man's father's house by 'a poor devil', with very different repercussions, though justice was clearly done in each caseーbecame a success, and he followed it up with The Man of Property (1906), the first book of a Forsyte trilogy. Although he continued writing both plays and novels, it was as a playwright that he was mainly appreciated at the time. Along with those of other writers of the period, such as George Bernard Shaw, his plays addressed the class system and other social issues, two of the best known being Strife (1909) and The Skin Game (1920).

John Galsworthy
He is now far better known for his novels, particularly The Forsyte Saga, his trilogy about the eponymous family and connected lives. These books, as with many of his other works, deal with social class, and upper-middle class lives in particular. Although sympathetic to his characters, he highlights their insular, snobbish, and acquisitive attitudes and their suffocating moral codes. He is viewed as one of the first writers of the Edwardian era who challenged some of the ideals of society depicted in the preceding literature of Victorian England. The depiction of a woman in an unhappy marriage furnishes another recurring theme in his work. The character of Irene in The Forsyte Saga is drawn from Ada Pearson, though her previous marriage was not as miserable as that of the character.

Causes Edit
Through his writings Galsworthy campaigned for a variety of causes, including prison reform, women's rights, and animal welfare, and also against censorship.

I was watching a YouTube video a while back where Lee Anderton (of Anderton’s fame) gets a guitar lesson from Ariel Posen. Ariel tries his best to teach him a few things in a very thorough and well-meaning way, but about half-way through Lee says something along the lines of, ‘Just teach me the quick and dirty way to do things, I’m a middle-aged man who doesn’t have the time (or the patience) to practice scales for 8 hours a day’, which is both totally valid and completely doable on guitar as it’s one of the few instruments that lends itself well to a wide range of methodologies, be they theory-based or the other extreme.

This book was also inspired by many students of a variety of ages who came to me saying they just wanted to play and not be bogged down by theory and scales and whatnot. They weren’t looking for shortcuts, they just genuinely wanted to solo and sound good without having to learn theory in order to do it. Admittedly, I was discouraged at first but I put myself in their shoes and came up with this method to get to the good stuff faster, and sound good.

I won’t deal with pentatonic scales here as you’re probably already well-versed in those and are looking to be able to solo over simple and common chord progressions or add more variety to your improvisations. If you’re looking for a system to learn pentatonic scales (and modes), which is also theory-lite, check out another of my books: Beyond Pentatonics.

All the music theory terms you’ll find in this book are for labeling purposes only and will help you recognize these concepts in songs or pieces you already know; they’ll also help you find the information on the fretboard when you need it instead of fumbling around. What’s more, due to the simplicity of this approach, you’ll be able to reduce your thinking to a minimum and concentrate on making a musical contribution to whatever situation you find yourself in and making jamming/playing out a far more enjoyable experience.

I love this approach and often teach it to people who don’t want to practice 10 hours a day, are not interested in theory or knowing the whys and wherefores of everything. They just want a straightforward, “if you learn this and play it here, it’ll sound good”, method so that they can express themselves in a jam session, solo with more than just a pentatonic scale, or play out on the weekends.

If you have even half an hour a day to play/practice guitar, you can make a world of progress with your soloing by using this method.

Think Chelsea Handler’s ‘My Horizontal Life’ meets Elizabeth Gilbert’s ‘Eat Pray Love”

This book is a collection of journal entries on Rebecca's ‘bare-back-ride’ journey to becoming an artist. Embracing who she is fully - and hopefully inspire others to do so. On an even larger scale, one of my life missions is to change the world and inspire others through love, art, dance and laughter. Disclaimer from Rebecca: This book entails my opinions/perceptions on each experience, and may not actually reflect the reality of the situation. Are you ready to see right into my mind? We all have our sh*t - I just have the courage (or insanity) to publish mine. I want to inspire others to discover the true meaning of self love NOW! Everyone in this book is amazing and did what was best for them. I hold no judgement or mean no harm. 【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Learn to draw in an hour【電子書籍】[ R. Brand Aubery ]

The method is really simple and if you follow the steps you will learn to draw leaving behind the childhood stage in which adults tend to be trapped as far as drawing is concerned. But before buying, make sure that this is what you are looking for. It is not a book, nor a conventional drawing course. You will not find examples, only the method. The ebook consists of fifteen pages counted.

It is well explained by what is more than enough. It is to read it quickly and immediately get to work.

Draw!

In 1979, Betty Edwards, a drawing teacher who taught at California State University, published an amazing book explaining that anyone with two hemispheres in the brain could learn to draw. Since human beings came from the factory with those two hemispheres, anyone could develop a notorious skill in drawing ... if he or she was taught how.

The first thing I asked myself, and I still wonder, when I checked, first with myself and then with my class of ten-year-olds, that what was explained in the book "Learning to draw with the right side of the brain" worked is how is it possible that the Edwards method is not better known. It has been more than thirty years since its publication, long enough for the book to be known worldwide. Myths were demolished, as drawing is a gift only available to a few, or it takes a long time to develop such a capacity. Thanks to her method millions of people around the world could learn another wonderful way to express their emotions. But I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of art education teachers who know their existence. I do not stop recommending the book to professors and students in my University and in my school and no one seems to have ever heard of it.

So I decided to write this ebook in case you had not heard of Betty Edwards either, to let you know that you can learn to draw in just one hour, reading this ebook and doing the exercise that is proposed. One hour is the time it takes me in my classes to teach my students everything they need to know to develop this wonderful capacity for which we are all trained. I hope that when you check for yourself do not let the message die and teach to draw your partner, your parents, your children and your friends. And if you are a teacher, to all your students.

There are ideas that must be known and shared by everyone. This is one of them.

This book is my favorite of all my books because it took the best from my thoughts and feelings and as a reflection shown into these pages to enjoy and let it know to everyone which like them all. But also it tell that I have to have courage and be honest to demonstrate here -without shy- what are my very deep emotions and my real feels, which come out in the forms of nicest poems with good lyrics and lovely melodies of tones from the profound of my heart and myself as well; just the best that I can possible can do and imagine for them.
I was born in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba and came to South Florida 38 years ago. I am a retired person now, but I was graduated as an Accounting and Planner and worked in that field and also I was Manager in different jewelry and antiques stores for many years in Florida.
Since I was young love to read and write about everything, but poetry became my first passion to do so, because I think poetry is the ultimate and the unique expression of any Art form, just to achieve, conquer and realize as a complete writer of art itself. Poetry is love and care for all and the best way to express yourself as a painter of any canvas but with words and rhythms, tones and phrases as something else unto create -one by one- exquisite verses and beautiful poems to delight all.
I still have one goal and it is to publish everything that I wrote or continuing writing and to share all with everyone who will like what I do; those who love poetry as I do and loving my writing too.
I already published few books which are: "Perhaps, voices and dreaming of love" in English and in Spanish "Quiz?s, voces y sue?os", "Sin muchas palabras" (short stories and poems), "Huellas Infinitas" (poetry) and "Libre Esp?ritu"(short stories and poems), and still remain few more to be publishing and to finish all likewise.

Thanks for everything and enjoy this book as you ever do!

The Author

Have you ever felt yourself lost, completely lost in the walls of your apartment, in the streets of your town where you have lived all your conscious life, in the whole universe? I have, now I am lying on the floor with empty bottles around me as I strangled all the content out of them, some kind of pills as I believe they could burn down all the damage I have done to my body and empty boxes of pizza and some packages of food, it is my method to kill any human emotions about regret, sadness and self-blame at least for couple of hours. The walls of my apartment are so cold and lifeless that I wish I could escape from here, the ambience is suppressing. I hate this place it is striking in me total desperation, unworthiness to life and the longing to erase myself from the face of this planet. I foster abhorrence to every corner of this lodging. Only yesterday I was over the moon, the whole idea of moving here brought me excitement and a particular feeling. And what about now? I wish I had never moved, I wish I had never made a deal about this flat. However, I can't move back, there is no step back as the decision had been made and its reverse would denote disaster. I am alone, I mean not alone on daily basis. I have parents, a brother, a cat by my side, but loneliness is inside. It is like being on the deserted island with people around you who don't notice you, who are similar to each other that is creepy. Sometimes we don't need the hell big amount of people around us in order to feel secure, safe and being at the right place. Few human beings are able to change your life and all about it in one day, in one hour. But I have only one who is able to revive me, the thing is he isn't here anymore. Sometimes we only need the very one human being who we wish to watch every day without a cessation whose presence makes everything to be right. In my decadent and confused world this person was a remedy to heal, a placebo to take every day without recommended dose, a drug which in the end causes consequences. That will be my story about, which consequences attachments implicate. The story which has shaken my world and maybe it will shake yours, you never know.

Passages of Me was never intended to be a poetry collection book. It started out as just one poem, the first poem in the book. I submitted that poem to the American Library of Poetry. After that poem was selected, I began getting really good feedback. This incited me to continue writing poems. After I finished around the first thirty, I would joke around, saying, Fifty poems, and I will be published. This made me change my approach to poetry. Instead of rhythms that make you smile, it should make you reflect and make you think about how you feel, how you act towards people and yourself. Also, I wanted to give people a piece of me. Every poem has meaning, yet mine may not be the same yours. I wanted to write poems where people could understand my meaning yet still be able to side with theirs. I wanted to have certain poems about things that go on around the world and other things that happen within ourselves. This poetry book was a way for me to express myself in a positive manner. I hope you enjoy it as Im showing you the inner me.
