【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Alcohol - More Top Ten Cravings Busters【電子書籍】[ Catherine Mason Thomas ]

If you liked that book, you should find this one up your street as well. Ten tried and tested Strategies to avoid alcohol cravings and switch them off if they start.

For the price of a round of drinks or a decent bottle of wine, these two books give you twenty proven strategies that help you avoid alcohol cravings or switch them off if they start. These strategies are ones that I have seen work and have had feedback that they really helped people (maybe you?) get free of the wish to drink.

Wouldn’t it be great if in a year’s time, you could look back at this year and say to yourself “The one big thing I did this year was free myself of alcohol”? Can you imagine that? Is this your dream?

The new set of ten tried and tested Cravings Busters are:

#11 How to make not drinking your only priority

#12 No alcohol in the house

#13 Enlist your inner ninja

#14 Step by step Gratitude practice

#15 A good book

#16 Anger interrupted

#17 Enough sleep

#18 Timeline

#19 Avoid sugar

#20 Ask for Help

These Strategies are for you to pick and choose, test and embed, ways to take a break from alcohol, either a holiday or a permanent change without it being shockingly difficult. Many try to stop drinking or have a break, many under estimate the challenges.

I am not saying that stopping drinking is hard because for most people it isn’t. But it is a whole lot harder if just do it without any strategies to take the strain.

The No.1 reason that we put off trying to change our drinking habits is because of we don’t want to have to tough out the denial .How will it will be if we cannot pour ourselves a drink when we really need one? How will we cope without our pick me up/ calm me down/ get me in party mood/let me switch off drink?

Maybe you have tried before and failed because it was just too hard. Maybe you just keep putting it off until you have the perfect low stress time to do it.

You are Orphan Annie “Tomorrow, tomorrow, I luv ya! Tomorrow. You’re always a day away!”

The traditional advice on cravings to just sit with those feelings when you really want a drink.

That is not what I advocate.

Why suffer?

I am not in that camp. I am a coach which means that I am meant to come up with ways to make stopping drinking easier. I tell my clients, you, to find other ways to get the pay-off you get from a drink.

Pay off from a drink? Isn’t it all bad? Shouldn’t I just turn my back on my drinking life and try not to think about how a drink made me feel?

No. Drinking was a sane strategy, it just came back to bite you. You drank to get a benefit, usually mood-related. A pick me up, a calm me down, a zone me out.

You can just tough it out in sobriety but it’s miserable. That’s why you put it off. The downside of all that denial just overwhelms your good intentions.

Why not recognize yourself as human and find out ways to get the payoff without the alcohol? Does that not sound saner and more likely to succeed long term?

You can have a battle within yourself between the good girl and the bad girl. Or you can integrate and accept both and find ways to head off your cravings so they do not bother you. You get on with creating a fantastic life without relying on a drink to be your happiness in wine glass form?

So what will work?

This is where Cravings Busters come in.

Book No.1 gave you ten tested and proven strategies to avoid the wish to drink and switch them off it they started. The ten are a range from distraction strategies to strategies to replace some of the feel good feelings you got from a drink. If you have not read the first volume and you have picked up this book because you want to take a break from alcohol, I recommend looking at the first book as well as they go together like sausages and brown sauce.

Between Book No.1 and this book, you have twenty ways to tackle cravings. You are going to find a range that works for you. You will feel so much more confident about stopping drinking if you know that you will not be clawing the wallpaper off the walls with stress or bashing the kitchen wall with a frying pan to get rid of tension (I had a client that had done that).

If my first book was the top ten strategies for avoiding and switching off cravings, what is this book?

It is the 2.0 release to the first book. It is ten more cravings busters but these ones are a level up in terms avoiding cravings and switching them off.

The first book was a fire fighter’s manual of things that will definitely help you to resist the urge to have a drink while you take back control of your life and start to figure out just who you are without a drink in your hand.

This second book gives you ten more tried and tested strategies you can choose from but the emphasis is on deeper strategies that actually quell the need that you thought only alcohol could feed

When I wrote the first book, I think it became a best seller because it was practical and positive and took as its subject the main fear of stopping drinking ? cravings. It was focused and to the point. At the time when you are seriously considering taking a break from alcohol, you know things have to change. You have all these worries about how things might change but you know that things have to change, that much is certain.

I am no Pollyanna, trying to make lemonade out of lemons but I am a coach and I am alcohol-free. When you coach people, they expect more than advice to tough it out. They expect strategies, plans, experience: things to make the route easier and faster.

what I can do is help you succeed at the thing you want most ? to take a break from alcohol, temporarily or permanently.

I can help you follow through on your wish to stop drinking so that you are much, much less likely to fail. I can and will also make the journey to a happy, calm, even euphoric at times, alcohol-free way of living, quicker and smoother.

When you are thinking of stopping drinking, it is not a capricious idea that comes out of the blue. You will have had weeks, probably months, even years, of the idea going round and round in your head. In your head will be a to and fro arguments “I need to stop” “Not today/after such and such a date” “If I don’t stop, I am going to get found out/sacked/ lose my children (that makes you feel even worse) ? “It’s not that bad. Loads of people drink the way you do”.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。

【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】The Dragon and The Princess【電子書籍】[ Andrew P M Yiallouros ]

A spiritual odyssey begins...a tale of magic, love, faith and adventure...

Follow the dragon as he awakens, as he comes of age, as he discovers life and as he finds The Creator...a story of lost love, friendship, magical beings and evil sorcerers; a spiritual odyssey that takes the reader as a companion and co-discoverer! An allegorical and philosophical message for our times...

The beginning of a series of books centered around the dragon's world and the journeys of the creatures therein, with the next title being the second part to this introduction. Future titles are "The Sorcerer's Kingdom"; " The Wizard and The Dragon"; "The Secret Garden"; "Where The Man Burns"; "The Mysterious Island and the World of the Sea People" and lots more!

"What a great read. I loved the characters and the fantasy aspect of it. It's well-written, and takes you to another world. Would recommend to anyone."

"I really enjoyed this book, in fact I couldn't put it down! It's one of those books that I keep finding myself thinking about, a book that
will stay with me forever! definitely recommend it!"

"What a pleasure to read! Using fantasy as a genre is a smart choice because most people resonate with the setting and the ability to escape to another world. It also makes it deceptively easy to read (and hard to put down). However, upon reflection, you realise how wonderfully layered the story is and how applicable it is to your own personal journey. Beautiful, magical, inspiring and yes, fun, this is a gem of a find and one I know people will share with their friends and loved ones."

"This wonderful story hides hidden layers throughout its many glitter- sparkled, drug-hazy, humour-filled adventures, meandering through the meanings of life and love that resonate with all of us. Fly with the curious dragon, with his endearing character and tender spirit, as he launches into the ultimate journey; the journey of self-discovery. The destination: to know one's self truly and be proud and accepting of that truth. A lovely tale of making mistakes and dusting yourself off again, of not finding the answer straight away, and not finding life as simple as it first appears, and most importantly, of whole-heartedly living a life enriched with learning and loving all the way. An enchanting escape for a world-weary generation. A must-read."

"A kind, innocent yet epic tale. A read-in-one-sitting love story between the protgonist and the world. The author really captures a fantastical folkloric feel, whilst taking the reader on a deep yet accessible philosophical journey. The big questions have never been so fun to read!"

“Such an enjoyable read. Light on the outside, but with an underlying depth full of morals, life, love, drink, drugs, religion, sex, fun, style, magic and so much more. It is a spiritual book… really touches well on the heart and soul of us all in the modern world. Although set in a magical world full of mythical creatures, it does feel like there is an autobiographical side to it, and so feels quite personal. Like a warm and loving friend is reading it nearby.

Above all though, it is the wisdom that drives this book; both the Dragon and the writer.”

"I was reading this magical book and fell in love with every line. I felt so connected because it describes what we may go through in our life's journey. As you read through the lines you will feel the honesty, purity and clarity in every word. I enjoyed reading this book, inspired me to feel hope and love again. I strongly recommend you read it."

"I love it you are brilliant! Very nice and easy to read..."

"Lots of deep moments and sooo inspiring!"

"Thank you, I really enjoyed it! Great talent, please use it, I think you've got a lot to tell!"

"I will recommend to my friends for sure, when I started reading it I couldn't stop, and it got really addictive from chapter 6, I read all night!"

“Spiritual and uplifting”
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。

There is nothing quite as revealing of a time & culture, its concerns, obsessions, nonsense & trivialities, its temper true or twisted, triumphs, tragedies, and all its nature... as its headline news [ever the clearest reflection any culture has of what concerns it most]. And this is the fifth in a satirical series of hilarious eBooks “apparently” exploiting the inability of the writers & editors of today's "Tricky Headlines" to compose clear, unambiguous copy--Puzzlement, amazement, outrage, and the humor of their folly, silliness, injustice, or intent to deceive, along with all the rest of the panorama displaying in our news how it goes with our current world.

Intended for an adult audience (think of these items as comics without the kiddy graphics). But even though I myself have read them, it is not really all that necessary that you put yourself through that too--unless, of course, you wish to find out whether my outrageous make of them might perhaps also be more accurate than you really wanted to know.
In the third installment of Whispers from the Past, Isabelle Rhodes finds herself constantly at odds with her father, Bailiff Garrett Rhodes. Determined to pave her own destiny, Isabelle abandons her family in her pursuit of knowledge. The trials she faces during her studies, however, will change her life forever.

~~~~~ Excerpt ~~~~~
I held a cool cloth to my blackened eye. Bruises and scrapes decorated my pale arms and legs. Thankfully I wasn’t bleeding too muchーand most of it wasn’t mine. The other kid would miss a few days of tutelage.
“Where is she?” I heard my father’s booming voice from down the hall. I hadn’t expected him to be happy, but his tone was unnerving.
I sucked on a split knuckle in an attempt to ease the sting. When he rounded the corner he assessed the situation and shook his head.
“Come on, Isabelle,” he commanded, and I stood without hesitation.
“You have to admit, sir, she has your fire,” the man watching over me commented.
“Aye, too much for a girl. Let’s go,” with that he turned heel and I trailed behind him.
I concentrated on the ground as he led me outside of my language tutor’s estate. His strides were long and sure and I had to skip steps to keep up with him.
“Why this time?” he asked with the authority I associated with his work.
“Stephan said I was just a stupid girl. When I told him to shut up he called me a bitch…” I explained under my breath.
“Surely, beating him to submission proved him wrong.” Father glowered down at me from the corner of his eye.
“Lord Radcliff says that’s the worst thing you can call a lady!” I retorted.
“I would agree with Lord Radcliff, however my daughter is no lady.”
I felt tears of anger well up in my eyes, and I hid them with the cloth.
“Do you prefer Sir Garrett Rhodes’ brat?”
“No!”
“I’ve heard it from your instructors, Isabelle. You are ten years old now, and if a boy calls you a name you ignore him. If you so badly want to be a lady, then act like it.”
My empty fingers balled into a fist, but I couldn’t hold it long- pain seared across my knuckles. My joints ached and the cuts burned. I said nothing and held back my complaints. In Father’s eyes, I should have been on the worse end of the fight.
When we arrived home, my mother took one look at me and rushed me into the washroom, ordering a servant to fetch hot water. She carefully moved the hand that held the towel and looked over my black eye.
“Oh sweet, haven’t you learned?” she admonished.
“I couldn’t help it…Stephan called me awful names…” I touched the cloth back to my throbbing eye.
“Get yourself out of those filthy clothes. I’ll be right back.” She kissed my forehead and returned to the front room. I hadn’t had the chance to undress completely before the bickering drifted through the door.
“Elaine, how else am I supposed to teach her that what she’s doing is wrong?” Father bellowed.
“Not by ignoring her!”
“You remember the last time she boxed a peer? This is nothing compared to that!”
I sighed as I slipped off my skirts. He wasn’t wrongーLady Millie had threatened to never teach me again if I ever lay a hand on another one of her students. But Patrick had said the most vile things about my mother…
“Garrett, you need to be her father, not her bailiff.” Mother said as the servant filled the tub to completion.
I carefully stepped into the scalding water. Air hissed through my teeth when every open cut was exposed to the bath, and it took me longer than usual to settle myself. Mother returned just as I settled, the water sitting comfortably at my neckline.
“I’m sorry, love. Let’s get you cleaned up.”
Unfortunately, it wasn’t the last fight I’d find myself in.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Biography of a Slave: Being the Experiences of Rev. Charles Thompson【電子書籍】[ Rev. Charles Thompson ]
I was a slave, and was born in Atala County, Mississippi, near the town of Rockford, on the third day of March, 1833. My father and mother both being slaves, of course my pedigree is not traceable, by me, farther back than my parents. Our family belonged to a man named Kirkwood, who was a large slave-owner. Kirkwood died when I was about nine years old, after which, upon the settlement of the affairs of his estate, the slaves belonging to the estate were divided equally, as to value, among the six heirs. There were about seventy-five slaves to be divided into six lots; and great was the tribulation among the poor blacks when they learned that they were to be separated. When the division was completed two of my sisters and myself were cast into one lot, my mother into another, and my father into another, and the rest of the family in the other lots. Young and slave as I was, I felt the pang of separation from my loved and revered mother; child that I was I mourned for mother, even before our final separation, as one dead to me forever. So early to be deprived of a fond mother, by the "law," gave me my first view of the curse of slavery. Until this time I did not know what trouble was, but from then until the tocsin of freedom was sounded through the glorious Emancipation Proclamation by the immortal Abraham Lincoln, I passed through hardship after hardship, in quick succession, and many, many times I have almost seen and tasted death. I bade farewell to my mother, forever, on this earth. Oh! the pangs of that moment. Even after thirty years have elapsed the scene comes vividly to my memory as I write. A gloomy, dark cloud seemed to pass before my vision, and the very air seemed to still with awfulness. I felt bereaved, forlorn, forsaken, lost. Put yourself in my place; feel what I have felt, and then say, God is just; he will protect the helpless and right the wronged, and you will have some idea of my feelings and the hope that sustained me through long and weary years of servitude. My mother, my poor mother! what must she have suffered. Never will I forget her last words; never will I forget the earnest prayers of that mother begging for her child, and refusing to be comforted. She had fallen to the lot of Mrs. Anderson, and she pleaded with burning tears streaming down her cheeks, "He is my only son, my baby child, my youngest and the only son I have; please let me have him to go with me!"
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】The Blogger Diaries Trilogy Boxed Set The Blogger Diaries Trilogy, #1【電子書籍】[ KD Robichaux ]
Book 1: WISHED FOR YOU
Kayla’s Chick Rant & Book Blog
Blog Post: 1/17/15
My name is Kayla and I’m a blogger who believes in fairy tales. Through the anonymity of my blog, along with my reviews of the steamy novels I like to read, I tell the stories of my own search for love. No matter how disastrous they turn outーand believe me, you will ask yourself ‘Did that really happen?’ーI never gave up, knowing my soul mate was out there somewhere.
When my big brother invited me to move to Houston for a semester of college, I jumped at the opportunity to leave my small hometown to see what it was like to live in a big city. Having no friends and not knowing where to go, I met a guy online and met up with him that night. Because…YOLO, right?
Turns out, he was an okay guy. Not ‘The One’, but still, a good enough guy to spend time with. But then, he introduced me to his best friend Jason, and my world tilted on its axis. The dark, tough, tatted-up guy, who was too broody for his own good, captivated me.
But he made it perfectly clear, I wasn’t his type.
IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
The Blogger Diaries Trilogy is the true story of how I met, fell for, lost, and got a
second chance at love with my soul mate. The names of everyone EXCEPT me, Jason, my family, and my best friend have been changed to protect their identities. Full of youthful stupidity, leading to bad decisions and lots of angst, it is a real life story, where inevitably things are messy.
No one can look back at their late teens and early twenties and not think of moments that make them ask, What the hell was I thinking? Every second of this trilogy is true, exactly as it happened.
The first book, ‘Wished For You’, is a tale of finding ‘the one’ too early, and then having to let them go.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a true trilogy, meaning the first two books END ON CLIFFHANGERS. But if you take the journey with me, in the end, I promise you a happily ever after you will never forget.
I know I won’t.
Book 2: WISH HE WAS YOU
Kayla’s Chick Rant & Book Blog
Blog Post
Heartbroken and devastated, I moved back home to North Carolina after the man I loved more than anything told me he didn’t want me anymore.
After my disastrous dating history, I had finally found the one, my soul mate, and then he just threw me away like I meant nothing to him. So, what was I supposed to do now?
I did what any woman who had her heart ripped to shreds would do. I rebounded. And I rebounded hard.
My life spun and progressed at whirlwind speed as I tried desperately to fill the hole Jason had left inside me.
I had myself fooled for a while there, until the newness of everything wore off, until the whirlwind slowed to a grinding halt and I was forced to stop and realize exactly what I’d done. I suppose I could’ve trained myself to be content with Aiden, but all I did was…
Wish He Was You
Book 3: WISH COME TRUE
Kayla’s Chick Rant and Book Blog
April 17, 2016
They say when you quit trying so hard, things will finally fall into place. So, I let go of my failed marriage to Aiden, focused all my attention on my daughter and finishing school while working a full-time job, and suddenly…
Barely breathing turned into surviving.
Surviving turned into being content.
Contentment turned into happiness.
All just my girl and me.
But there was still something missing, something I truly never thought I’d have.
My happily ever after.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Poems From a Tender-Heart【電子書籍】[ Matt Swegler ]
For most of my life I have been an intensely private person. It's hard to share anything about yourself until you have embraced your true heart. While my mother isn't currently on Earth with her family and loved ones she still exists in Heaven. Being that both of my paternal and maternal grandparents were dead before I was born her death in 2001 hit me very hard. It turns out this sorrow would change me in a way that I never expected. A God-given talent that was dormant in me was awakened after her death. While in the grieving process I wrote my first two poems that didn't belong in the trash. Yes, since those first two I have written many more. Like the first two, I have dedicated each of them to my mother in Heaven.
Even now I don't consider myself special...I'm just being me. Your blue eyes remind me of a clear blue sky. If someone said those words to me for most of my life I would have corrected them and told them my eyes are more like the ocean, but not because it's possible to drown in their beauty. On the contrary, if you stare into my blue eyes long enough you could drown in the loneliness and sorrow that you see in them. If someone wondered why is that I'd reply when U see my blue eyes you are seeing the state of my heart. My blue eyes are relaying one simple message and that is my kind-heart longs for a very special woman to enter my life. Except for the last handful of years I didn't allow anybody to look into my blue eyes unless it was absolutely necessary. The main reason for me doing this is because I didn't want anybody to see the loneliness and sorrow in them. That was reserved for me and even I didn't like to see it. Therefore, even though I'm considered a descent looking guy I wasn't that fond of looking into the mirror. Now, I don't mind standing in front of the mirror and or letting someone see my blue eyes.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】A Little School On A Farm In Africa【電子書籍】[ Rob McIntyre ]
A Little School On A Farm In Africa
This is a book that virtually wrote itself. It couldn’t have been otherwise, as my imagination alone would have failed completely in dreaming up many of the incidents described in the various chapters. The book covers a period of four years, which were completely different to the city life that I had led previously.
It describes how a young teacher, me, born and bred in the city, was given the privilege of moving into a farming community in Africa to teach farm children. It also meant moving from an urban environment where the houses stood side by side, to one where the homesteads were separated by kilometers; moving from a place where most people you saw during the course of the day were strangers, to one where everyone knew everyone else. It was a place without shops of any kind, and where entertainment was something that you created for yourself.
When I left my parents’ home in Port Elizabeth, the nearest large town to the country area where I was to teach, I knew I was to board with the family of three of my pupils. What I didn’t know, was that the Johnson family had no intention of regarding me as a boarder. From day one I was treated as a member of the family, and on the rare occasions on which I thought about it, it seemed to me that I had become something of a cross between teacher and older brother to the three Johnson children.
The teaching was also very different to that at the big city school in which I had taught for the previous two years. Whereas educating the children from grade one to grade seven in the city school required at least fourteen class teachers, without taking into account art, music, needlework, woodwork and remedial teachers, in the farm school there was, at first, only one teacher ? me!
That was the position until Pat and I were married, after which she took over the teaching of the very young children. If the first two and a half years I had spent as the sole teacher at the little school had been a wonderful experience, things were to become even better with the coming of my wife. The Johnson farm family had grown by one!
It was precisely because of the free and easy atmosphere of the little farm school, coupled with the fact that I was my own boss, that the emphasis could be on fun and enjoyment. Not fun and enjoyment at the expense of learning, but fun and enjoyment as the medium through which learning took place.
Some very amusing things occurred while I taught at the little school and lived in the farming community, and of course I have included them in the book. In fact, amusing incidents seemed to be the rule, not the exception. One reason for this could well have been the fact that life out in the African countryside was very much a do-it-yourself sort of life. Normally speaking, when something went wrong, or a new challenge presented itself, one just got stuck in, acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills so that one could handle the situation; far removed from city life where one could simply call in specialized help. How many city folk have ever been faced with a huge crab in their loo (toilet) or a horse that sat on fences, or a little crab that threatened to destroy a big dam, or, for that matter, poisonous snakes that seemed determined to take up residence where they could enjoy human company?
As long as I live, I shall always regard myself as incredibly privileged to have spent four years in that wonderful community, where teaching their children was more fun than work. Sharing an important part of the experience with my young wife was just the cherry on the top.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
I can never sleep. Soon as my head hits the pillow, my brain turns on. Ideas. Things that you can never imagine yourself thinking. For months I used to worry about my airplane. There’s a small airport near the trailer where people land small aircraft. And as soon as my head was horizontal I started to worry. Where did I park the airplane? It’s not like it wouldn’t be easy to find. There can’t be more than a couple dozen airplanes on the ground. But I couldn’t recall parking it anywhere. Keep me up for hours. And then one day I was in Durham in this small grocery store picking up a few vegetables when it suddenly dawned on me. I don’t have an airplane.
One night I’m laying there worried about the poles. Not the country. The north and south pole. What if they switched? It had happened before. Would we wake up the next morning disoriented? Would the birds start flying north in the fall? Would we have to remake all our maps? Would Santa Claus have to seek out counseling?
It’s a disorder. I’ve been tested for it and found wanting. What do they call 4 a.m.? The hour of the wolf? You go outside and there is a strange stillness in the air. It’s the hour when most people die. Just before the dawn.
Up at the trailer I would go out and wander through the fields. Try and tire myself out. A couple of times I found myself the next morning, sleeping with the cows. Nothing romantic. But, I love cows. There’s a sad wisdom in their eyes. Don’t fool yourself. They know what’s in their future. They can smell barbecues miles away. But they’re resigned to their fate. It makes my heart sink. That’s why Madeleine and I became vegetarians. That lasted about six months until one night when I fell asleep in a field of carrots.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
Watch outーthe Hottest Leather Daddy Werebear has just hit London. Because of his Bear heritage, the Werebear goes into a type of hibernation during the Winter when he loses weight and an interest in sex. But when Spring comes, the largest and most powerful of Shifters is ready to indulge his appetites for food and rough sex. When he meets a nerdy fat human cub the sparks begin to fly. He can’t keep his hands off the cub as he’s shoveling food into the cub’s mouth and his own. But humans are so delicate compared to Shifters, the Werebear’s mantra has become “Pace yourself, Pace yourself.” Not all human lovers of Werebears survive.
A ProfessorFatology Special Selection
(An adults only story of supernatural gaining and fat fetish that’s so hot your ereader may melt. All characters are over the age of 18.)
Excerpt:
He grinned and started walking towards me.
“Barry,” he said, holding out his hand. Because I was sitting we were almost at eye level.
“Geir,” I replied.
“That’s an unusual name,” he said.
“It’s an old Norse name. It means Spear.”
He couldn’t help itーwhen I said Spear he looked at my crotch. I wondered if we’d be doing it in my hotel room or his. There was always the museum’s restroom but he made me think so much of Paul I wanted to have our first time be special. I normally didn’t mind putting the “did” in “sordid,” but Barry deserved better. I was also conscious of pacing myself so I wouldn’t give Elias yet another reason for judging me. Barry sat beside me, the bench barely big enough for the both of us. His left knee lightly rested against my right one. “Wowーit’s great to meet another American.” His smile made my heart melt. His face was round and open. He had the same sort of innocence Paul had always shown. Until you got him in bed.
His belly was bulging out seductively. All I wanted to do was ride him while playing his fupa like a bongo. He noticed where I was staring and patted his belly. “I put on a few new pounds due to my recent addiction to fish and chips. And one of the new local brews.”
“A holiday is the time to widen your horizons,” I put my large hand on his large gut, “and other things.” I pressed into his softness. I got hard for lard. I smiled as he purposefully pushed his gut further out and more fully into my hand. This obviously wasn’t his first time out at the Blubber Fest. I loved cubs who embraced the big and didn’t feel shame in their size.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Me, Myself and Lord Byron【電子書籍】[ Julietta Jameson ]
Mad, bad and dangerous to know', Lord Byron was not just one of England's finest poets, he was also history's first true rock star, living a life of abundant extravagance and shocking scandal that led eventually to self-imposed exile in Europe. Through his travels, Byron carved out a new life, remaining true to himself to the end. So when journalist Julietta Jameson is compelled by emotional crisis to embark on her own period of personal exile, whose footsteps better to follow in than those of her beloved Byron? Her suitcase filled with his verse, Julietta traces the path of this luminary poet through the Alps, across Italy and over the Mediterranean, and in doing so, learns to live her life in truth, just as he did. Me, Myself and Lord Byron is a story of parallel journeys - that of the infamous Lord Byron, and of a woman on a heartfelt mission to reclaim her life. Julietta explores the flipside of Byron's celebrity - his insecurities, fears and regrets. 【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】The Maine Woods【電子書籍】[ Henry David Thoreau ]
The Maine Woods was the second volume collected from his writings after Thoreau's death. Of the material which composed it, the first two divisions were already in print. "Ktaadn and the Maine Woods" was the title of a paper printed in 1848 in The Union Magazine, and "Chesuncook" was published in The Atlantic Monthly in 1858. The book was edited by his friend William Ellery Channing. It was during his second summer at Walden that Thoreau made his first visit to the Maine woods. It was probably in response to a request from Horace Greeley that he wrote out the narrative from his journal, for Mr. Greeley had shown himself eager to help Thoreau in putting his wares on the market. In a letter to Emerson, January 12, 1848, Thoreau writes: "I read a part of the story of my excursion to Ktaadn to quite a large audience of men and boys, the other night, whom it interested. It contains many facts and some poetry." He offered the paper to Greeley at the end of March, and on the 17th of April Greeley responded: "I inclose you $25 for your article on Maine scenery, as promised. I know it is worth more, though I have not yet found time to read it; but I have tried once to sell it without success. It is rather long for my columns, and too fine for the million; but I consider it a cheap bargain, and shall print it myself if I do not dispose of it to better advantage. You will not, of course, consider yourself x under any sort of obligation to me, for my offer was in the way of business, and I have got more than the worth of my money." But this generous, high-minded friend was thinking of Thoreau's business, not his own, for in October of the same year he writes, "I break a silence of some duration to inform you that I hope on Monday to receive payment for your glorious account of 'Ktaadn and the Maine Woods,' which I bought of you at a Jew's bargain and sold to The Union Magazine...
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Like I Used To Dance【電子書籍】[ Barbara Frances ]
Review Rating: 5 Stars!
Reviewed By Viga Boland for Readers’ Favorite
The only way for me to begin my review of Like I Used to Dance by Barbara Frances is to say I loved it! For me to love a fiction book that is simply based on the ups and downs of a loving family in the late '50s in Texas is unusual. I truly didn't know what to expect when I began reading Like I Used to Dance. It's a long novel: would I be bored? Would I even finish it?
Well, Barbara Frances had me completely hooked in the first few pages and I couldn't read it fast enough. I was dying to know what would happen next to Grace and Bud and their three adult children, all raised as good Catholics. When one daughter becomes a nun, the younger daughter marries a mean, misogynistic drunk, and their son falls for a delightful Jewish girl, their peaceful life as farmers is more than a little upset. It becomes even more upset by the entry into their lives of Ceil, a wealthy, beautiful and generous woman with a troubled past she might never have survived if it weren't for the local black woman, May-May. Loved by everyone, May-May is feared by that rotten drunk husband who is hell-bent on killing her, and he nearly succeeds, but there's no way I'm going to be a spoiler here and tell you any more. You just have to read Like I Used to Dance and find out for yourself.
Barbara Frances offers liberal minded readers everything they crave: suspense, violence, evil, sex (never explicit) and tons of good. That timeless theme of good conquering evil propels the novel to satisfying conclusions, though some may question the likelihood of certain situations presented. But if I had to nail what most riveted me to this story, it would be the questions Barbara raises, through her characters, about being born, bred and raised into religions that we live by despite our questions and doubts. Grace, along with her two daughters, and thanks to Ceil, is troubled by the blind adherence to tenets drummed into us since we were infants. These three women ask themselves questions I asked myself as a child, and later as a teen. They, like me, find themselves being freed as they reach answers their religious upbringing would deem sinful. And in finding those answers, they find their real selves. And that self is a far more honest one of whom they can be proud.
Like I Used to Dance by Barbara Frances could almost be described as a "coming of age" book for the bulk of the characters in the story. And there are many of them. Too often for me, a large number of characters in a novel is a turn off. I hate struggling to remember who is who. But this doesn't happen under the skillful pen of Barbara Frances. She knows where she's going with this story, its events, its issues, and its characters, and we, the readers, enjoy every part of the journey. A 5-star book all the way, I highly recommend Like I Used to Dance and I look forward to reading Barbara Frances' next book. I hope she won't keep me waiting too long!
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
When I visited the Gulf for the first time in twelve years, I was sensually overwhelmed by the power of our Ocean Mother. She's out in the waves, and ever true to her siren self, she's looking for a meal to shatter, for a wayward human to wander too close to her rip tide. Like the seagull bashing shells against rocks, the sea has a way of fragmenting you as you stand face to face with her alone on the shore, the edges of yourself fading into the misty morning light. These poems are from that experience of confronting Ocean Mother for the first time in what seemed an age, and I'm still trying to discover if I myself shattered on those shores, or if I ended up taking other pieces home with me.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
FMLYOM by Hanzel Stone has explosive scenes and is a tale of straight sex and bisexual seduction. Sydney lets her exhibitionism run wild both before and after her dinner date with Nathan. Then, when Nathan admits that he's never had a threeway Sydney seizes the opportunity when they spy Dalia standing on the corner pretending to be waiting for a friend. Little does she suspect what a friendship with Nathan and Sydney is going to lead to that night!
Sound interesting? Here's an edited excerpt from the book:
Your 3rd floor suite has a superior view of the urban landscape beyond and walking into the bedroom I notice a small sofa next to the window. Immediately I draw open the drapes and inform you that at some point this evening I want you to do me there while I look out over the street. Putting your hands around my waist you turn me to face you, saying there is nothing that you would rather do to me, and we begin to kiss. I love a man who knows how to kiss and you do not disappoint. We explore each other with our tongues, enjoying this intimacy, then I excuse myself for your bathroom, suggesting that you make yourself comfortable while I do the same.
When I step back into the room I am clad only in the gift of lingerie that you sent me before your arrival, a gorgeous French lace bra with graphic black florals upon a sheer deep red open net tulle with matching low-slung hipster panties. You are standing in front of the small sofa in the bedroom, wearing a pair of black boxer briefs and nothing else, sipping a whiskey neat while idly watching the people on the sidewalk below. The dark hair of your chest contrasts oh-so-sexily with the light tan of your skin and I admire how the flickering candle light in the bedroom plays with the muscled tone of your body, thinking how thoughtful it was of you to go through the extra effort of lighting candles for us. You turn in my direction as you hear me draw close to you and I see the beginnings of your arousal beneath your briefs, I see how happy you are to see me standing in front of you looking like this.
Now we are wrapped in each others arms again, kissing, your hands stroking the smoothness of my skin. This afternoon I luxuriated in my favorite spa treatment, bathing myself in sea salts so that my entire body would be incredibly soft for you. You release your lips from mine and step back to admire your gift, then you slowly unwrap me, tossing my lace bra onto the side chair in the bedroom. As you kneel to slide my briefs over my hips and to my ankles I place a hand on your bare shoulder for balance, lift one manicured foot and then the other. The lace briefs join my bra lying on the chair and now, completely bare, I am clean and natural for you. Still on your knees in front of me you straighten yourself so that you can run your tongue along my body, gently kissing me as you inhale my scent.
You stand and explore my body with your eyes, your gift for this evening. Barefoot, the tip of my head comes up to your chin. My light red hair falls just to the top of my shoulders. My breasts are petite and I become hard from your stare. My bottom is ample and apple shaped, and is just simply made for sex. I reach down to caress you underneath your briefs and in response you begin to grow. You bend your head down, run the tip of your tongue along my ear, then inside so that I can both hear and feel your warm, humid breath. Your hand is over my throat, then down my chest, you are using your thumb to play with me, then caress the cheeks of my behind. We kiss again, tongue on tongue, then you take my hand and lead me to your bed, placing me right at the edge on top of the duvet-covered mattress.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
For years Sandra Trufant has been working nights and weekends to get her start-up off the ground, but when long overdue success begins to turn heads, it attracts the attentions of heavy hitters that Sandra is not prepared to contend with. Such a one is Jackson Rivers, dashing CEO of the Rosemont Group, who has come to meet with Sandra personally about the prospect of a buyout. What begins as a bit of simple maneuver and professional strong-arming soon becomes much more as he turns to more elaborate means of bringing Sandra around to his point of view. Sexual manipulation, spanking, and sheer charismatic dominance will all come into play before he has had his way with our heroine and left her gasping on her office desk, hungry for more.
Excerpt:
He drew another folded sheet of paper from his coat pocket and laid it in front of me. "First, you sign this contract, finalizing the sale for the amount I've offered you. It will make you a very rich woman."
I managed to shake my head. "This is all happening too fast."
"Too fast?" he repeated. "I thought I had been very generous with my time. I have given you months to withdraw from my markets."
"I can't," I stammered.
He nodded, as though deciding for himself. "Do you know what it is like when a little startup like yours wanders in and starts trying to underbid companies like mine? It is like a child that insists on sitting at the grown-ups' table. The child refuses to acknowledge objective reality. It only understands one thing."
He pushed the stacks of paper which remained in the center of my desk off to the side. One of them wobbled, tipped, and cascaded to the floor, but he did not notice. "The only thing they understand, Sandra, is a firm hand."
He was standing over me, now, and I had shrunk back into the chair, feeling very small and physically intimidated.
"I can make you regret your stubbornness in any number of ways. I can underbid every contract you receive, headhunt every name you hire, and grind your company into the dirt until every last investor you have is serving you papers. Is that what you want?"
I stared up at him, mute.
"Stand up," he said.
I stayed frozen in place.
"Stand up," he repeated. "You call yourself the owner of this company. You can't even stand and look me in the eye in your own office? You have to cower in your chair?"
Shakily, I complied.
No sooner was I standing than he had put his hand to the small of my back, pushing me over and pinning me down upon my desk.
"I'm going to do something much less permanent than all of that," he said. There was not so much as a single note of strain in his voice as he held me completely helpless against the smooth oak of my desk. "Because I'm beginning to like you, because in a certain way I can admire stubbornness, I'm going to teach you very simply and here, in private, just how out of your depth you are."
I tried to say something, but his hand against my back was compressing my chest against the desk too forcefully to draw full breath. Instead, all that emerged was a whimper.
The whimper became a muffled gasp as I felt his hands on me again. His fingers ran up underneath my skirt, over my buttocks, pushing the skirt up above my waist and exposing my underwear. In another moment, even that scant cover was taken away as well, as I felt the damp cloth pulled from me and down to my knees. Desperately struggling against the pressure of his arm, I tried to cover myself with my hands. He simply caught each of my wrists in turn and placed them in the closed fist with which he bent my spine against the desk.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
【電子書籍なら、スマホ・パソコンの無料アプリで今すぐ読める!】Oliver: A Short Story【電子書籍】[ Richard Norway ]
What happens to you when you're forced to face your fears? What happens to you when that person forcing you to face your fears is yourself? Jonas has a decision to make. He's 16 years old and must face himself to make the right decision which will affect the rest of his life. But he has help from an unexpected source.
DesDownunder at awesomedude.com has awarded this short story his Appreciation award. Here are his words:
"Oliver...is a stand out for me because it touches on the human condition in a most universal way with profound meaning for life itself.
Warning: Spoiler ahead
Richard, there is no need to apologize for using Dicken's template of A Christmas Carol, you aren't the first and you won't be the last. (I confess to doing it myself in my A Christmas for Carol story.)
The sheer creativity in Oliver displaces any idea that it is merely an adaptation of Dicken's work. It is so much more. Oliver is not just a 'coming out' tale. It is a 'coming together' story; the unification of youth's evolving potential, and the discovery of what it means to let ourselves and each other be who we are. The way that Richard exposes the cultural pressures on Jonas to be other than who he is, is done with superb restraint and subtlety, relegating the drama to creating the atmosphere of a storm that was never as bad as it might have been. The anticipation of the human drama is never less, or more, than it should be, but it manages to suggest the value of confrontation with self-discovery.
I cannot allow Richard's work to go unpunished, so I am awarding him my appreciation award for writing a story that contributes to our understanding of the human condition in life, love and coming out. Well done, Richard!
Awarded to Richard Norway for his outstanding revelation of the mysteries and evolution of sanity in Coming Out in his story, Oliver
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。
